Galvanized metal. Not painted. Used on 5" posts that do not exceed 48" tall. This mounting post can be used for LINE, CORNER & END POSTS. Can also be used as an internal support for hanging a gate as long as the gate in no wider than 48' and no taller than 48" (When using this mounting post to support a gate we recommend that the post also be filled with concrete. When filling posts with mixed concrete, make sure to cap off or tape the ends of rails going into the post to prevent concrete form migrating into rails)Installation
